The world around us is changing each and every day and those decisions greatly affect our lives. It is important for us to be aware and stay current on the events that are going on around us locally, nationally, and internationally. You will be debating the following topic areas which affect each of us in some form: death penalty in the U.S., U.S. abortion laws, education policy, healthcare policy, environmental policy, U.S. gun laws, and artificial intelligence.
Instructions:
1. Choose a debate topic area listed in above paragraph (You will choose a topic
during class session). You will present your debate topic in front of the class.
2. Choose if your argument will be the affirmative (in favor of policies that support)
or negative (against policies that support).
3. Type a 1 page Summary of your debate topic that will be turned in and graded.
