Select two pieces per chapter from the playlists at the end of Chapters 2-4 (A total of 6 pieces will be described).
Listen for and describe how the theme of each chapter is reflected in the piece (depending on which chapter it is from):
Slowness
Speed
“Transmission” (i.e. emotional content)
Can you hear and understand these elements?
Do you hear Repetition in any of these pieces?
Describe how and where.
What was your general response/reaction to each piece?
At the end of your Journal, discuss your overall listening process.

How many times did you listen to each piece (roughly)
Did listen straight through or did you stop and start and repeat sections?
