In this project you will use the linearization method to derive a transfer function for the problem above
a. Please determine a parallel analogy of the mechanical system
b. Derive the a linearized transfer function
c. Simulate a response (x(t)) when f(t) was increased from 1 to 1.25
d. Determine the rise time settling time and percentage overshoot
e. If we want to have 20% overshoot what value of the damper should be selected.
f. If we want to have 10% overshoot what value of the damper should be selected. Compare and discuss it with the previous result in part (e).
Write a report in word document to address each question. Also simulate the result in Matlab.
