1. Compare Atlantic Charter and Percentage agreement. Answer the following: What are your thoughts on how the US, USSR, and GB divided the world? Why did Stalin want Churchill to keep the agreement?
2. Read the Church Committee report. Find three episodes, for example attempts to assassinate Castro, illegal activities in Latin America, abuses of power,etc. What were the violations, describe and analyze.
3. Why did the revolution in Cuba succeed and why did the revolution in Guatemala fail? What was the role of the USSR if any?
