5) Keeping in mind that most teaching teams are small and share a lot of information with each other, is it complete feasible for them to uphold privacy and confidentiality?  If not, what will you do in YOUR research to mitigate potential harm from such sharing?

Part Two- Action Research Plan (Count: 2400 words)

Develop a comprehensive action research plan covering the following aspects. The word count is approximate:

1) Title of the project
2) A statement of the research topic and why the practice/s is in need of improvement and exactly what the action  research question  will be (200 words)
3) A synthesis of major themes in selected literature (5-6 journal articles, excluding Te Whriki) that would inform your topic (600 words)
4) A brief discussion of the participants and the setting (200)
5) A clear description of the three data collection methods you would use and why (450 words)
6) Procedures you will follow (step by step in order) (200 words)
7) How you would analyse the data you would collect from Data One (and later Data Two) (300 words)
8) A possible intervention which might change the practice (drawn from the literature) (250 words)
9) An assessment of the ethical issues you foresee in your project if you were to undertake it as you describe (200 words)

Learning Outcomes:

LO1: Critically examine ethical issues in practitioner research.
LO2: Apply elements of the action research process to effect change in practice.
