Consider suicide. It would seem to be a behavior that would lend itself to psychological explanation solely. Durkheim — one of the architects of Sociology and a classical theorist — clearly maintained that suicide could be explained by focusing on social phenomenon as there are social patterns of suicide (e.g., the western states, men, etc. have higher rates of suicide). Do you agree with each of categories he creates in relation to integration and regulation?
