Let’s start with finding premises and conclusions.  For the next few arguments, state what the premise is and what the conclusion is by underlining or highlighting. Be sure to provide a legend for what is the premise and what is the conclusion. Remember, you could have more than one premise and it may not be the first statement. You will only have one conclusion. This exercise is graded.

For the following arguments, determine what statement is the conclusion and what statement/s are the premises. Don’t forget to look for indicator words as they will signal a conclusion or the premises.
In the second group of exercises, find the missing statement based on the identification of the form. They are all valid, just need to identify the form to provide the missing statement.
