Your summary paper should include a paragraph describing the supplement including information on what the supplement is, who it is manufactured by, how much it costs, the recommended dose, ingredient list, as well as what structure-function claims are made about the supplement on the label or other advertisement information. A second paragraph should describe the physiological evidence supporting the proposed mechanism, i.e., how or why the supplement may do what they say it should do. You should site at least 3 peer-reviewed original research sources (meta-analyses are OK, reviews are don’t count) for full credit. Cite your sources in APA format.
