Persuasive Speech Assignment

Write a persuasive speech outline on one of the following topics:

1)   Should everyone in the United States be required to wear masks in public?

2)   Should a wall be built across the southern border of the United States?

3)  Should the covid vaccine be required of all airline travelers?

4). Should Israel give up more land to the Palestians?

You need to take a specific position and not argue both sides. You may discuss the opposing point of view in the limitations section only.

Research your topic using EBSCO and eBrary. Then complete this exercise in this exact order. Label each step.

The outline includes sufficient research to support the argument.  The paper utilizes 8-9 credible sources from EBSCO.

The content is boring and poorly researched.  Presents information from irrelevant sources. Fewer than 8 sources are cited. Student may not have documented within the paper or included references at the end.

Design of Argument

The outline includes at least three major arguments.  The support for the arguments must include logic, emotions, and credibility.  These arguments must be clearly stated and identified with (logic), (emotions), or (credibility)
