MEAD Project: Introductory Abstract
In appx 200 words (250 MAX), write an intro/abstract for your group that is appropriate for publication as an introduction to your group’s project(s) in a catalogue or public program. This is what your audience will see in the online symposium materials.
Your intro/abstract should give the reader and audience member some broader context for your project, your approach, and your goals.
1. For groups that are presenting and preparing “separate” objects and activities, you should have two sentences on each person’s unique approach and topic that has been contextualized in the broader themes/concerns.
2. Empiricism, holism, anti-ethnocentrism, communication, & public relevance.
