Each student will summarize a scientific research article. Students must summarize one of the article options posted on Canvas. A rubric and summary guides are posted on Canvas. The article summary should be between 800 2,000 words. Failure to meet the minimum word requirement will result in a loss of points. All papers should be in APA format and submitted via Canvas. All papers will be analyzed using TurnitIn via Canvas. Plagiarism (> 40% match; or as determined by instructor) will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will result in a zero for the assignment. All summaries must be turned in via the submission link provided (Research Article Summary) in Canvas. Emailed, printed, etc. summaries will not be accepted or graded. Failure to submit a summary via the designated submission link will result in a zero for the assignment. Emailed assignments do not count as a submission, i.e., if the assignment is emailed to me before the due date, but the assignment is not submitted via Canvas until after the due date, the assignment is considered late.
