This is a paper comparing and contrasting two historical speeches. The following questions should be answered in this paper.

What kind  of  language,  assumptions,  perspectives  do  they  share?  What  are  the  most  important differences between them?  In other words, what do we learn about the past by looking at these two documents together? To what extent do they suggest divergent perspectives and to what extent do they showcase similarities of view?

1)What do these leaders want for their country?  How would they define the goalsof the revolution?  What do they want to accomplish? Who is favored by their policies and who disfavored, ignored, or seriously harmed?

2)How do they contextualize their arguments historically?  How do they see their movements within a broader sweep of history, a history that has tended to ignore the issues they want to address and the sectors they want to favor? Why do they think their movements are necessary?  Whom  do  they  represent?  Whose  side  are  they  on?  Who  are  they  fighting against?  Why are their enemies bad?  Whatis it that they (the enemies) have been doing that is so bad?

3)Address any contradictions that you find within the statements of a single individual. For example, does Fidel Castro suggest contradictory goals within a single speech? How have have SalvadorAllendesviews changed between 1970and 1973? Or between individuals in the same country. For example, are Fidel Castro and Che Guevara always in agreement?
