Much of the work described in Chapter 6 has been conducted on animals, mainly rats. Should this research be applied to/conducted on humans. What about Skinners work? Or how about Pavlovs work? What would be the ethical concerns of conducting such research with humans?
Given how much more effective distributed practice is over massed practice, why is it many students are still inclined to cram” before a big exam? Are past experiences more powerful than scientific data? Discuss why it is difficult to change behavior?
