Reflection Paper 1

Instructions: A reflection paper should be one that takes the topics you have learned about and explores how the information has impacted you. It also discusses actions you will or will not take based upon this learning. In other words, how will what we have learned so far in our readings from Chapters 1and 2 inform your daily practice? For this paper, I would like you to reflect upon the following:

From Chapter 1: the impacts of cohort, socioeconomic status, gender, and culture and ethnicity as well as the principles of nature and nurture. Reflect upon what each actually means to you and how you have been impacted by or experienced them. You can refer to the textbook as your guide, but you will mostly use your own words. Do use page numbers if you use concepts from our book. Be sure to write about what you knew before studying this chapter and what you know now and how that will inform your daily living.

From Chapter 2: Please reflect upon prenatal development. What did you know about this before you spent time in this chapter? Reflect upon pregnancy and what you knew and what you learned and how this will respond to having this knowledge. Clearly state the ideas and concepts that impacted you most, what your thinking or knowledge was before, and what your position is now based upon this new learning.

Answer the question: Is the world going to be a better place because of what you have learned in these two chapters and if so how will it be better? If not, why not?

Please use a Calibri or New Times Roman font size 12 and create a paragraph for each topic. Please see the associated rubric to know how you will be graded on this assignment.
