Dialog- This week, read the article in the link in the left margin ARTICLES FOR DISCUSSION, on kids and screen time. Research shows that screen time for kids is increasing rapidly. You read last week’s article on what doctors recommend, and this article gives you more information on what possibly is lost when kids have unlimited access to tablets, phone, etc. It doesn’t much matter if you are low income or higher – kids have access to screens. This week, let’s talk about the findings by Common Sense Media. The tips given seem doable, but only if a parent intercedes before screen use becomes expected.
