1. The written paper will be graded according to the Research Paper Rubric attached below.
2. The paper should be a minimum of 5 pages in length (The content of the paper should be no less than 5 of these pages)
3. Must have an introduction and conclusion/summary
4. Present background into the disease/condition (1 page)
5. Describe the role of an EKG Tech (1 page).
6. Relate the disease/condition to EKG Tech care reflect on the care of the patient specific to the disease/condition and the age of the chosen population (1-2 pages).
7. Explore possible issues or emergencies that may arise with this patients care (1-2 pages).
8. Consider other professionals involved in the care of the patient and describe connections or communication that must occur with the EKG Tech caring for this patient (HIPAA, patient rights, etc.) (1-2 pages).
9. Information included must be supported by a minimum of 5 primary, scholarly peer reviewed sources that are no older than 5 years. Databases such as CINAHL and EPSCO HOST are great resources. Students are encouraged to access the Collin College online library to locate quality sources.
10. The entire research paper must be in APA 7th edition format,
