Analyze the reading and discuss what the article is depicting ,select one quote that you find the most meaningful to you in one of two ways: either because the author/speaker validates something you have already been thinking about or because the author/speaker challenges you to rethink how you have been thinking. Analyze the quote: 01) what is the argument the author/speaker is making?; 02) what connections can you make between this quote and another text that we have engaged with in our course (e.g., how does a quote from Omi and Winant connect to the arguments that Lee is making in her chapter?)?; and 03) why is this quote so meaningful to you?
