This final research paper must be a 10 page paper with a specific thesis paragraph and argument. The paper will focus on the mistreatment and stereotypes placed on Native Indian women. In this course I have been taking it has been evident in the movies we have seen that women especially of this ethnicity are not treated as equals. This paper should support this corrupt idea with 4 outside peer reviewed sources and 2 that I will provide. It will also be helpful to use movies such as Smoke Signals, Reel Injun, Dance me Outside, and Powwow Highway to further the argument being made.

What stereotypes exist? Where in our readings do we encounter them? What are their impacts? How do they evolve over time? What about when Indigenous people are in control of the story and the production?
