Students will prepare an analysis of the impact of globalization on a country. Students can select any country. Students should include specific attention to some of the main forces associated with globalization (technology, trade and integration, offshoring and outsourcing, migration, transportation, environmental pollution) and the impact of these forces on different stakeholders (such as domestic companies, workers, farmers, indigenous cultures, and different demographic groups) within that country. Students should draw implications of the issues and their impact on international management practice. This analysis should be no more than 10 pages double-spaced paper with references both from the (F. Luthans, and J.P. Doh. International Management: Culture, Strategy, and Behavior, 11th Ed., McGraw-Hill Irwin, 2018.) AND from at least 3 credible outside sources, citing in APA format.
Up to 250 points can be earned for the country case, based on the students level of analysis, interpretation, academic rigor in the response, AND the students reflection of the course material.
