Instructor feedback from last paper you wrote for me.

Week Three Assignment: Final Research Paper
Overall, a nicely written paper. Your thesis roadmap was understandable, but you did not have a clear and concise thesis statement.  A thesis statement is one sentence, which is usually located as the last sentence of your opening paragraph and lays out the way forward for your paper.  Several sentences were awkward, choppy, and appeared to be written as if you lost your main idea midway through writing the sentence.  It appears that you were distracted when you wrote this paper.  It is always a good idea to have someone proof read your paper prior to submitting it.  As an author we have a tendency to fill in the gaps as we read our own papers.  Whereas, a second set of eyes can easily pick up the writing gaps.  Minor grammatical, sentence structure, and format issues.  You reference page is to be separate of the content portion of your paper.  The reference page is similar to the title page.  Good use of references.  You analyzed key elements using course-external sources. Sources are credible and authoritative. Multiple instances (more than 5 references) demonstrating the application of terminology and concepts specific to the course learning outcomes throughout. Met the minimum standard of 8 written pages. Demonstrated a satisfactory appraisal of the researched information. The essay is presented as a thoughtful exposition of ideas. A basic compilation of the fundamental issues, but integration of research into a theme is fragmented. A basic examination of the fundamental issues, but you missed a few points.
