In this research topic, I will explore the issue of climate change. Exploring this issue gives the research topic that adopting renewable energy is the primary way to control adverse climate change. There are both natural and human causes of climate change. Natural causes include volcanic eruptions, ocean currents, and solar variations that cannot be controlled. The human causes of climate change include the burning of fuels such as petrol, diesel, and jet fuel; biogas generation all contribute to climate change (Dryzel. John S., Norgaard & Schlosberg, 2011). In my research, I have been able to identify that the main causes of climate change, up to about 80%, are caused by the greenhouse effect. On the other hand, the greenhouse effect is caused by greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere after the burning of fossil fuels. These gases are trapped within our atmosphere, and they, in turn, trap excessive amounts of heat, and thus they raise the global temperatures to dangerous levels (Dryzel. John S., Norgaard & Schlosberg, 2011). I have thus recommended that the best way to control climate change is by adopting renewable energy such as electric cars, solar, and wind generators.
