significant impact on Business and Employment Law. Please brief these cases, particularly
discussing the legal principles/issue(s) they most followed/effected/altered/changed, using the IRAC method discussed in class:
Toland v. Sunland Housing Group Inc
Privette v. Superior Court
Provide an earlier California Appellate or Supreme Court case that each of these cases
was based on.
Then list the counsel representing the parties (you do not need to list amicus counsel),
noting your favorite lawyer in the bunch.
Finally compare/contrast how the California Supreme Court applied tort and/or contract
principles in these cases.
